David has practiced in Bellingham since 1979, representing injured workers and personal injury plaintiffs from all over the state. His clients now include children and grandchildren of those he represented earlier.

David is a graduate of the University of Washington Law School (1970), where he received Academic Honors including selection to the Law Review and Order of the Coif. From 1973-79 he served as an Assistant Attorney General, representing the Department of Labor & Industries.

David lives in Bellingham with his wife Carol. They have two daughters, two grandchildren, and two great-grandchild.
